About the Firm
A private guest-experience advisory firm for luxury hospitality.
We were built on a simple observation: the industry knows what it intends to deliver, but rarely measures what guests actually receive — and almost never with the rigor, taste, and discretion the luxury tier requires.
Why we exist
Traditional mystery shopping produces long narratives that busy operators cannot act on. Elite inspection bodies set the standard but do not coach you to it. We sit between them — anonymous evaluation with the rigor of formal inspection and the synthesis of an advisory firm.
How we are different
Evaluators matched to category, not a generic pool. A scoring method that separates technical execution from emotional hospitality. Deliverables built for ownership. And a wine, legal, and operating fluency that most of the field cannot credibly match.
What we protect
Discretion is the product. Every engagement is anonymous and confidential, conducted under NDA, with evaluator identities protected and findings shared only with the people who commissioned them.

Founder
Anthony Clemenza
Founder
Anthony Clemenza founded The Patron Measure after a career spent close to luxury hospitality — with an operator’s eye, a serious grounding in wine, and the judgment of a lawyer by training. Having evaluated world-class hotels and restaurants firsthand, he saw how small the distance is between very good and truly exceptional, how expensive that distance becomes, and how rarely anyone measures it with rigor or discretion. The Patron Measure is the practice he wished existed.
“For years I watched superb properties lose the very guests they most wanted to keep — not over the food or the room, but over small moments no one was measuring. This firm exists to measure them.”
The Patron Measure is an independent firm and a Clemenza Group company. Wine and beverage work is informed by Prestige Vin Affaires; travel and destination intelligence by Velluto Travel.
